Pallet wrapping affects load stability and the pace of warehouse work. Before choosing equipment, record your pallets’ dimensions, weight, stability and daily volume. Measure current film use per pallet as a baseline.
Choose a wrapping method
Manual wrapping can suit low or irregular volumes. A turntable is for loads that can safely rotate. A mobile wrapper travels around the pallet, while a rotating-arm machine wraps an unstable load without turning the load itself.
Compare film carriages as well as machines
FRD, FR, PGS and PVS carriages handle film differently. For example, the Rotoplat 708 PVS offers adjustable pre-stretch from 150 to 400%. That figure does not apply to an FRD variant or another machine series. Choose the carriage and film for the actual load.
Test the result on your load
Compare film used per pallet, wrapping time and load stability before and after setup. Savings are possible, but the amount depends on the film, machine and settings. Glosspak can help select, install and configure Robopac equipment, train operators and provide service in Uzbekistan.
